Easter Weekend

The other day, I went down to Wakefield to drop of some merchandise for a new gift shop opening there. It's called "Waves of Creation", it features local artists, and it's planned opening is April 15th. I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek of what will be offered for sale - definitely worth checking out! On the way home, I met up with some of my family members and took a hike in the Great Swamp Management Area. Lots of frogs were singing, and it was warm and lovely. Welcome, Spring!

The lighting was beautiful, and this pine looked so majestic, towering over the other trees. And, of course, I couldn't resist including the little detail of the wood duck box...
