Song and Scene - Wednesday Morning Calm

I'm going to try something. I mentioned yesterday how important music is to my work. I'd like to periodically pair a particular photograph with a particular song. The intent would be for readers to listen to the song while they observe the image (or images). Why? Because to me sometimes music is the best way to get across my interpretation of the photograph.

Sailing through Blue Skies

Hello all. I've been so busy getting ready for a trip out to Montana that I've been neglecting the blog here. And since we're heading out today I'll be away for another week! However, I think this trip will be just what I need to recharge my batteries and get inspired.

A sleeker, more clean-lined take on "Drop of Sunshine"... I think both versions have their own charm. I see this one fitting in with a very modern interior, while the other is a bit more romantic. What do you think?

My Favorite Room

I spent some time taking photographs in my favorite room of the house today. It's my favorite because of the lovely color on the walls, the great light, the chandelier... and probably the fact that it's the only "finished" room in the house! I love how the wall shade changes subtly depending on how the sun is hitting it.
