A Post-Blizzard Ramble
As the day drew close to sunset, I found myself a few hundred feet away from my local Audubon refuge. Seizing the opportunity, I grabbed my camera and went for a stroll. The person who had broken the trail wore snowshoes, which would have been quite helpful today, with the snow two feet deep in places. But oh, the damp and cold was worth it, for the forest was filled with quiet magic.

Midwinter Snow
It's not quite the blizzard we were anticipating, but we've still had some lovely snowfall yesterday and today. We've got about 8 inches here at our home in Rhode Island, with more coming down.
