Mmmm, Peaches...
Before running off to do some art-show related errands, I discovered that a photograph of mine was featured on "The Peach Tree" - a great blog featuring Etsy finds.
Do check out the post - lots of great beachy items were featured!

Save the Bay
I love when opportunities arise to meld my photographic skills with my environmental educational background. Two of my photographs were recently accepted to the "Rhode Island Artists for Save the Bay" event, and I'm thrilled! Save the Bay is a wonderful organization which, in its own words, is "committed to fostering a personal connection between people and Narragansett Bay and encouraging investment in the Bay’s future".
I also have to thank one of my best friends, Staci, who modeled for the photographs that were chosen. I've told her before and I'll tell her again - she's good luck!
Here are the event details...

Sunshine
Well, I've been keeping myself extremely busy with yardwork and prepping for upcoming art shows and such, so I haven't had too much time to take new photographs lately. I did, however, just return from a lovely 4-day trip to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where my husband and I visited some family. Of course, the camera came with us, and I actually had a chance to sneak in some artsy shots in-between touristy ones!
These particular shots were taken during the few minutes we spent at Fort Lauderdale Beach on our way back to the airport. Hope you enjoy them!
